The mission of this Society is two fold; first, it shall be the primary focus of the society to promote the well being and interests of all members by any and all means necessary. It shall also be equally important to make every effort and utilize all legal remedies available, to prevent those who practice tree care in our state without a license, from doing so.
Members of the Maryland Society of Licensed Tree Experts are dedicated to the advancement of arboriculture and tree care professionalism through legislative initiatives. Additional areas of interest include increased enforcement of current tree expert law, additional funding of Department of Natural Resources enforcement activities and public awareness.
MDSLTE MEMBER CONDUCT POLICY
All members of the MDSLTE will practice arboriculture abiding by the rules and regulations as set forth in ANZI Standard A-300.
Members will follow only the most equitable and honorable of business practices.
Members shall not at any time sell, lease, lend or otherwise allow anyone or any
business to use their Tree Expert License for any purpose or reason.
